I haven't had the chance to install i7 yet, but my co-worker did and it's amazing! Fast, crisp, and you won't regret it. Saving up some extra cash first, then this is my first buy.

This is super nice but I am still a fan of AMD. I do love the i7 but I have not long gotten a Phenom II x6 1090T and it's SWEET!

As far as I know, i7 Extreme Edition is the fastest processor. It can be used in rendering 3D or playing high-end 3D games, there won't be a problem. At first I thought i7 is the same with Quadcore(4 cores) but different in GHz core speed, but i7 have 6 cores. I just found it out it in your post, thank you.
